The Progressive Surface Computer Integrated Thermal Spray (CITS) system for Windows® provides the customer with the most advanced and flexible thermal spray control system available, enabling closed loop process control, monitoring and datalogging of all key parameters. The powerful CITS computer system and specially designed software make it ideal for thermal spray activities including production, overhaul and repair, and research and development.
The CITS system is designed for both operators and thermal spray process engineers. Each CITS system is fully configured for its specific thermal spray application and can be configured to control individual or multiple plasma, HVOF and arc spray processes. Extensive context sensitive help and intuitive Windows-based controls make the CITS system very easy to use.
Trend graphs and data loggers provide the process engineer with the tools to perform design of experiments or SPC evaluation. Configurable data loggers record specified variables every second the machine is "in-cycle."
With selection of proper process hardware, the CITS software can operate up to eight powder feeders with closed loop feedrate control. The powder feeders can be operated sequentially or simultaneously to produce gradated coatings by varying the output of different active feeders.
