Reports
To document the quality and repeatability of the thermal spray process, it is important to continuously record critical process parameters. The Progressive Surface Computer Integrated Thermal Spray (CITS) system collects specified data every second. The data is stored in Microsoft Access® databases. Reporting is done through an integrated database reporting utility called "Crystal Reports", and can generate reports such as:
- Process summary reports, which provide a summary of all key parameters (i.e. set point, minimum, maximum and average values)
- Alarm logs, which show all alarms and shutdowns generated over a given time period
- Process recipe prints-outs
- Part log reports, which show all parts processed for a given time period
- Consumable usage sorted by part number and serial number
- Strip chart records, which show second-by-second process data
A key feature of the CITS system is that reports can be generated which summarize data from multiple parts. Data can be reported by date, part number, serial number, powder type or any other user specified data. Reports can be exported in a wide variety of formats such as Excel, Word, RTF, Text, Dbase, etc. Reports can also include graphs, plots and sub-reports.
