The viscous damper wheel etch abrasive blasting machine uses abrasive steel grit to etch damper wheels prior to nylon coating. It utilized an automatic load and unload system for maximum productivity. Six pressure nozzles were used to sandblast damper wheels at a rate of 1 wheel per minute on average.
The abrasive grit blast system handles 11 different part styles (including industrial diesel engine parts), and has automatic gun height adjustment to allow for automatic changeover through part number selection.
