Electric Arc Coating Sprayed on Metal Oxide Varistors (MOVs)

This arc spray system sprays an aluminum coating on the flat faces of metal oxide varistors at rates up to 1800 parts/hour. The entire thermal spray system includes all material handling, 4 wire-arc spray units and special masking. No overspray is allowed on the cylindrical portion of the varistor.

• Special Masking to prevent overspray on sides of parts
• Automatic flip mechanism to enable spraying of both sides
• Designed to process 4 different part sizes
