Eddy Current Inspection System
	This eddy current inspection project was a collaborative effort of Progressive Surface and Westinghouse. Progressive supplied part and probe manipulation equipment, while Westinghouse provided the eddy current probe fixtures, transducers, and analysis software. The eddy current inspection system had the capability to fully inspect large solid rocket motor components up to 12 feet diameter by 17 feet tall. One demanding requirement was the flexibility to do vast amounts of surface area as well as intricate geometric features such as threaded holes. This project demonstrates Progressive’s versatility to manage very large projects in a non-traditional process area requiring sophisticated systems integration.
