Larry Pollard announces his retirement from Progressive Surface
	Today Larry Pollard announced his retirement to the Progressive Surface team after nearly 10 years of service. Larry has been involved in the thermal spray industry for over 40 years. He is a graduate of the NAIT, (Northern Alberta Institute of Technology) Material Science program and began his career working for Sherritt Gordon and then moved on to Deloro Stellite. From there he opened a spray shop of his own which he operated until it was destroyed by a tornado. He moved on to Plasmadyne which was eventually bought by Miller Electric and then spun off to Praxair. Larry’s wealth of thermal spray knowledge will be greatly missed by all in the thermal spray industry and we wish him the best in his retirement plans of travelling and spending time with his family.
