Patented water shroud brings many coating benefits

The Progressive LiquiEdge^® thermal spray shroud attaches to the thermal spray torch. It injects water into the plume boundary to deflect unwanted particles, reduce unwanted particle adhesion, and remove overspray particles that have settled on the surface. The system can be used to produce denser, smoother coatings and provide better control of where coating is deposited.
